adidas — All-Star Weeknd
2020The World’s Best Career day
Youth ExperienceDuring a weekend oversaturated with traditional sports marketing, adidas Legacy wanted to elevate its commitment to youth empowerment by moving beyond standard brand activations. The challenge was to create an experience that elevated Chicago’s youth and invested in the next generation of change makers.
THE IDEA
We took over a building in Downtown Chicago to inspire and engage Chicago youth athletes with a once-in-a-lifetime career day lead by some of the biggest names in sports and culture.
The World’s Best Career Day
We took over a building in Downtown Chicago to inspire and engage Chicago youth athletes with a once-in-a-lifetime career day lead by some of the biggest names in sports and culture.By creating workshops across diverse disciplines, adidas empowered youth athletes with tangible skills and career inspiration that extended far beyond basketball.
We created a graphic system to tie everything together that included large scale projections, posters, motion graphics, signage and shirts for each school.
IMPACT
220 students attended 7 workshops. Giving them access to collaborative, hands on experiences with tangible takeaways.
As Senior Art Director, I helped guide the creative vision for The World’s Best Career Day, shaping how adidas Legacy showed up during NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. I art directed the design and storytelling of the event environment, ensuring each workshop and touchpoint reflected a consistent visual system. From concepting the overall experience and workshops to directing visual identity and content capture, I helped create a platform where athletes, entertainers, and students could connect in meaningful ways.
